Have your say on the Shire of Ravensthorpe Council Plan 2026–2036

The Shire of Ravensthorpe is inviting community members to have their say on the draft Council Plan 2026–2036. Read the plan here: Draft-Council-Plan-2026-2027.pdf

Summary - Overview of the plan

The Council Plan is one of the Shire’s most important planning documents. It sets the long-term direction for the district and outlines the community’s vision, values, aspirations, priorities and service expectations. It also guides how the Shire plans its services, assets, workforce, finances, advocacy and annual budgets.

The draft Plan has been developed using the current Strategic Community Plan 2020–2030 as its foundation, together with the results of the Community survey and workshops in 2025 and the 2026 MARKYT Community Scorecard. The Scorecard showed that the Shire continues to be valued as a place to live, while also identifying the areas the community would most like the Shire to focus on, including roads, economic development, footpaths, trails and cycleways, housing, sport and recreation, health and community services, safety and crime prevention, parks and reserves, tourism and community engagement.

The Shire now wants to hear whether the draft Plan reflects what matters most to you. Are you supportive of the draft Plan? Is there anything else you would like to see.

Community members are encouraged to read the draft Council Plan and complete a short survey. Feedback will help Council consider any changes before the final Plan is presented for adoption.
